With the support of nearly 200 guests, Jodi House raised more than $25,000 at its first-ever social hour event, ‘An Evening to Explore Jodi House at MOXI,’ on October 27, 2022.
The educational event was held on the Sky Garden rooftop area at MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation, in downtown Santa Barbara. Hundreds of community members gathered to learn more about the mission of Jodi House and how to get involved in the organization.
Guests were able to enjoy wine provided by Margerum Wines and beer donated by Institution Ale and Jordano’s Foodservice as they enjoyed a brief program by Executive Director, Lindsey Black, and Board President Adriana Mezic.
Jodi House received dozens of generous donations at The Giving Tree, in which attendees were able to select the donation amount of their choice and designate their own leaf on the tree to represent their gift. Guests also donated through QR codes spread throughout the event for convenience.
This event was held in lieu of Jodi House’s annual luncheon, which had been postponed over the past couple years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
