SANTA BARBARA, Calif., April 6, 2022 — Jodi House has been awarded $150,000 under the American Rescue Plan Act to support Home and Community Based Services (HCBS). This funding is intended to keep individuals with disabilities living safely in their homes and communities rather than in institutional care.

This two-year grant will extend services for brain injury survivors in underserved or unserved communities. Priority areas of focus include improving access for TBI individuals who are experiencing chronic homelessness, increasing access to TBI survivors who are involved in the criminal justice system, and increasing services for TBI survivors living in rural communities, among others.

Funding is effective April 1, 2022, through March 31, 2024.
