Jodi House Recognizes Brain Injury Awareness Month

By March 17, 2022No Comments

March marks Brain Injury Awareness Month as recognized by the Brain Injury Association of America and all brain injury support organizations nationwide.

In honor of Brain Injury Awareness Month, Jodi House has dedicated its social media channels to a month-long campaign to inform all followers about brain injury and support our members. The campaign includes facts about traumatic brain injury and how to prevent it, highlights about our members and the history of how Jodi House came to be.

The Brain Injury Association of America also invited anyone interested to attend a virtual briefing of brain injury awareness on Capitol Hill on Brain Injury Awareness Day (March 16). The session featured stories and advocacy from Congressional Brain Injury Task Force co-chairs Reps. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-N.J.) and Don Bacon (R-Neb.), as well as other political representatives that support the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force in Washington, D.C.
